Canadian Medical Care accepts clients who are insured at the following Czech insurance companies:

• VZP (Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna)
• OZP (Oborová zdravotní pojišťovna)
• ZPMVCR (Zdravotní pojišťovna ministerstva vnitra)

and who are enrolled in CMC's above-standard program. The reimbursement of general medical services by VZP and OZP insurance companies is also part of this program.

Samples of Czech health insurance cards accepted by CMC

CMC accepts: Adults, Children
Only plastic cards of persons insured by VZP or OZP are valid. The blue plastic card must contain the letters "CZ" in the circle of stars.

CMC accepts: Children
In some cases the VZP CR insured person's card differs from the plastic card, because it entitles the holder to access only limited, medically necessary healthcare in the Czech Republic.

CMC accepts: Adults, Children
Applicable to citizens of other countries who are insured at VZP via employment in the Czech Republic. A green plastic card is issued - effective only within the Czech Republic and for a maximum of one year. These insured persons are entitled to the same healthcare as provided to VZP insureds who have a blue plastic card.
