Dear CMC clients,
From 17th May 2010 we are working with a number of local health insurance companies concerning the vaccination against cervical cancer. We can now offer the 3rd dose for free.

This project allows our patients to get one dose of the vaccine for free. Each insurance company has different ages for eligibility for this project which are detailed below:
(VZP), Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna. This offer is valid for girls aged 10 to 25 years old.
(OZP), Oborová zdravotní pojišťovna. This offer is valid for girls aged 12 to 14 years old.
(ZPMV) Zdravotní pojišťovna Ministerstva vnitra. This offer is valid for girls aged 12 to 25 years old.

To receive this discount (free 3rd dose) you are required to give to your child's doctor or gynecologist, a Vaccine Discount Certificate BEFORE your first dose of vaccine.

To get your discount certificate you must either pick one up from a branch of your health insurance company or download the certificate for free from your health insurance company website before 30th June 2010. How you get hold of a certificate varies for each insurance company so you will need to check how to receive yours.

You must hand in this certificate to your doctor before your first cervical cancer vaccination. You will be required to pay for all three vaccines even with your certificate. After your third dose you are required to return the completed Vaccine Discount Certificate to your insurance company who will then reimburse you for the third dose of the vaccine.

Girls and women who wish to take up this offer must have had their first dose of the cervical cancer vaccine by 30th June 2010.

In Europe, one woman dies every eighteen 18 minutes, with cervical cancer. In the Czech Republic every year, more than 1,100 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and more than 400 patients die due to this disease.
