Digital panoramic X-ray Kodak 8000C excels in high quality images, allows a perfect positioning of the patient, and most importantly the patient is exposed to 20 times less radiation than with a regular X-ray. As of November 2008, a panoramic X-ray is available at CMC: Dentists use it for complex dental diagnostics; ENT specialists use it for examining the maxillary sinus; Orthopedists use the X-ray to examine small joints; and Pediatricians use it to diagnose growth disorders.
